Healthcare expansion underway in Hong Kong

03-May-16 In the past five years, government expenditure on public healthcare services has increased by nearly 50%, to some HKD68 bn (USD8.8 bn) this fiscal year. The Government has earmarked HKD200 bn (USD26 bn) for a 10-year hospital development plan, including building new public hospitals and redeveloping existing ones.
